The Tomiki Aikido Festivals and Tournaments are international Aikido activities that began in 1989. In recent years they have been held every two years, scheduled by TAIN Tomiki Aikido International Network and in the 2019 edition that concerns us, for ITAF, the international organization that has come to replace the previous one.
At these international Aikido events there is a meeting point for all Tomiki Aikido practitioners worldwide.
They are made up of seminars, competitions, meetings and celebrations, where representatives and components of the teams from each country have the opportunity to fraternize, compete in the different modalities of Competitive Aikido and, beyond this purely sporting aspect, to deepen in the Aikido within the form drawn by Tomiki Kenji Shihan.
Spain, and in particular the city of Malaga was chosen in 2016 as the venue for the celebration of this event that with the name of "2019 INTERNATIONAL TOMIKI AIKIDO FESTIVAL IN MÁLAGA

This international event is programmed by the ITAF Internatinal Tomiki Aikido Federation as mentioned and organized by TAS Tomiki Aikido Spain. It is sponsored by the NPO Japan Aikido Association and has the inestimable institutional sponsorship of the City of Malaga.
Tomiki Aikido Spain, organization of practitioners of Tomiki Aikido in Spain, with all humility and illusion invites all Tomiki´s Aikido practitioners and Aikido practitioners in general to participate in this event and wishes that this edition to be held in Malaga (Spain ) be liked by everyone.

富木合気道フェスティバルトーナメントは、1989年から始まった合気道の国際的な活動です。近年は二年ごとに開催されており、ITAF、富木合気道国際ネットワークによって計画され、2019年は私達が取り扱うことになりました。ITAFは、以前TAINという国際的な組織にとって代わった組織です。
この合気道の国際的な催しは、世界レベルで富木合気道の全ての実践者が出会う機会をもたらします。
この催しはセミナー、競技、会議、そして祝賀会から構成されており、各国の参加チームの代表者や構成員は、富木謙治師範によって立案された形式の中の合気道を極める、純粋なスポーツという面を超えて、合気道の競技を異なる方法で戦い、交流を持つ機会を持ちます。
スペイン、具体的にはマラガ市ですが、2019年に開催される第13回国際合気道大会が、2019年マラガ国際合気道フェスティバルという名前で、このイベントのホスト開催地として2016年に選出されました。
2019年マラガ国際合気道フェスティバル／第13回国際合気道大会は、ITAF、国際富木合気道財団によって計画され、言及したようにTAS、富木合気道スペインによって企画されます。NPO 日本合気道協会と共に、マラガ市が計り知れないほどの機関スポンサーとなり、この大会を支援します。
富木合気道スペインは、スペインの富木合気道の実践者の団体で、富木先生の合気道を実践者の方、そして一般参加者される全ての方に謙虚さと熱意を持ってお迎えします。1989年に始まった合気道の国際的なイベント、富木合気道フェスティバル及びトーナメントが、今回スペインのマラガで開催されるということは願いであり喜ばしいことです。

Los Festivales y Torneos de Aikido Tomiki son actividades internacionales de Aikido que tuvieron su comienzo en el año 1989. En los últimos tiempos se han celebrado cada dos años, programados por TAIN Tomiki Aikido International Network y en la edición de 2019 que nos ocupa, por ITAF, la organización internacional que ha venido a sustituir a la anterior.
En estos eventos internacionales de Aikido se produce un punto de encuentro de todos los practicantes de Aikido Tomiki a nivel mundial.
Están constituidos por seminarios, competiciones, reuniones y celebraciones, donde los representantes y componentes de los equipos de cada país asistente tienen la oportunidad de confraternizar, competir en las diferentes modalidades del Aikido Competitivo y, más allá de este aspecto meramente deportivo, profundizar en el Aikido dentro de la forma trazada por Tomiki Kenji Shihan.
España, y concretamente la ciudad de Málaga fue elegida en 2016 como sede para la celebración de este evento que con el nombre de

1er Torneo Internacional de Aikido Tomiki de ITAF (La 13ª Competición Internacional de Aikido)” tendrá lugar en el año 2019.
Este evento internacional está programado por la ITAF Internatinal Tomiki Aikido Federation como se ha mencionado y organizado por TAS Tomiki Aikido Spain. Está auspiciado por la NPO Japan Aikido Association y cuenta con el inestimable patrocinio institucional del Ayuntamiento de Málaga.

El Emblema del Festival
Purpose
The first Festival and International Championship organized by ITAF, an organization that has taken over from the disappeared TAIN, has as a precedent the 12 Festivals and Championships organized by the previous international organization.
It is our desire to promote Aikido Tomiki as a sport and also to promote its high ethical and educational ideals as trainers of people and as promoters of a more just, tolerant and fraternal society.
We have in the Festival and Championship of Malaga 2019 a unique opportunity to exchange views, strengthen the bonds of friendship between the different countries and participants, deepen our knowledge and enjoy the practice of Aikido as Budo and at the same time as Sports.
It fills us with joy in Spain to have had the opportunity to organize this festival and championship that takes, on the one hand, an already long trajectory and that at the same time inaugurates a new stage, and this feeling is reinforced when its celebration coincides with the thirtieth anniversary of the introduction of Aikido Tomiki in Spain and in Málága.
Propósito
El primer Festival y Campeonato Internacional organizado por ITAF, organización que ha tomado el relevo de la desaparecida TAIN, tiene como precedente los 12 Festivales y Campeonatos organizados por la anterior organización internacional.
Es nuestro deseo el fomentar el Aikido Tomiki como deporte y además promover sus altos ideales éticos y educativos como formadores de las personas y como promotores de una sociedad más justa, tolerante y fraterna.
Tenemos en el Festival y Campeonato de Málaga 2019 una oportunidad única para intercambiar puntos de vista, estrechar los lazos de amistad entre los diferentes países y participantes, profundizar en nuestro conocimiento y disfrutar con la práctica del Aikido como Budo y a su vez como Deporte.
Nos llena de alegría en España haber tenido la oportunidad de organizar este festival y campeonato que toma por un lado una ya larga trayectoria y que al mismo tiempo inaugura una nueva etapa, y este sentimiento se refuerza al coincidir su celebración con el treinta aniversario de la introducción del Aikido Tomiki en España y en Málága.

The accommodation has been organized in CASA DIOCESANA (Address: Pasaje de los Almendrales 2-4. 29013, Málaga), an excellent place near POLIDEPORTIVO DE CIUDAD JARDÍN, the sports center where the Festival will be held. The lodging at Casa Diocesana includes daily transfers by coach to and from the sports center. Also breakfast and dinner are included. The participants can enjoy each other’s company and the organization of the event will be made easier and more comfortable for you all.
The complete reservation (all days provided) of the accommodation at Casa Diocesana is as follows:
Arrival date: Day 8 October, Check-in 2:00 pm. Includes dinner day 8.
Departure date: Day 14 October, Check-out 12:00 noon. Includes breakfast day 14.
If any team wants to enter before or leave after these dates, notify the Organization.
Note 1:
The places of lodging of Casa Diocesana are very requested by quality of the facilities and price. We recommend teams to make their registrations as soon as possible, and be able so to have the lodging at Casa Diocesana secured.
Note 2:
Lunch is made at the sports center and the booking is made separately. Sunday the 13th does not include dinner in the accommodation. In that day dinner is the one that will be served during the farewell party.
Note 3:
The distribution of the rooms in "Casa Diocesana" will be made by the Organizing Team of the Festival.
The rooms that are available in "Casa Diocesana" are mainly for two people. Although there are rooms of three and four, but in smaller amounts. Of course the distribution of the rooms will be done taking into account the components of each team. But we ask for your understanding on this matter.

If you wish to make alternative accommodation arrangements, you are free to do so.

Se ha organizado el hospedaje en CASA DIOCESANA (Dirección: Pasaje de los Almendrales 2-4. 29013, Málaga), un excelente lugar cerca del polideportivo donde se celebrará el Festival. El hospedaje en Casa Diocesana incluye traslado diario en Autocar de ida y vuelta al polideportivo. También el desayuno y la cena están incluidos. Los participantes podrán de esa forma tener una convivencia más estrecha y una organización de la estancia más fácil y cómoda.
La reserva completa (todos los días previstos) del alojamiento en Casa Diocesana es como sigue:
Fecha de entrada: Día 8 octubre. 12 mediodía. Incluye cena día 8.
Fecha de salida: Día 14 octubre. 12 mediodía. Incluye desayuno día 14.
Si algún equipo quiere entrar con anterioridad o salir con posterioridad a estas fechas notifíquenlo a la Organización.
Nota 1:
Las plazas de hospedaje de Casa Diocesana están muy solicitadas por la calidad de las instalaciones y precio. Recomendamos a los equipos hacer sus inscripciones cuanto antes, y que puedan tener asegurado así el hospedaje en Casa Diocesana.
Nota 2:
El almuerzo se hace en el polideportivo y se gestiona de forma independiente. El domingo 13 no incluye la cena en la acomodación. La cena es la que se servirá durante la fiesta de despedida.
Nota 3:
La distribución de las habitaciones en "Casa Diocesana" será realizada por el Equipo Organizativo del Festival.
Las habitaciones de que dispone "Casa Diocesana" son principalmente para dos personas. Aunque hay habitaciones de tres y de cuatro, pero en menor cantidad. Por supuesto la distribución de las habitaciones se hará teniendo en cuenta los componentes de cada equipo. Pero os pedimos comprensión sobre este asunto.

Los participantes que lo deseen pueden elegir otra acomodación por su cuenta.

There is only one bus company in Malaga: EMT (Empresa Malagueña de Transporte). The Line that goes from the center of Malaga to the Ciudad Jardín Sports Center is Line 2. The stop at which you have to get off to get to the sports center is 212 (Avda. Jacinto Benavente).

MÁLAGA
The Gibralfaro castle casts a watchful eye over this warm-hearted and lively city full of attractive sites such as the Alameda Principal avenue and the La Farola seafront promenade.
Its status as the capital of the Costa del Sol has made it one of Spain's foremost holiday destinations, thanks to its mild climate, its beaches and its outstanding offer of golf courses.
Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans… over 2,000 years ago the most important Mediterranean civilisations found in Malaga an exceptional place in which to establish trade routes, thanks to the strategic location of its port. The Alcazaba (8-11th century) is one of the symbols of the city, and one of the largest Arab fortresses in Andalusia. This building is today the site of the Archaeological Museum, containing valuable pieces dating from Phoenician and Roman times.
The Gibralfaro castle (14th century) is linked to the Alcazaba by a section of wall and offers outstanding views over the city, which is open to the sea through its port and the La Farola seafront promenade, one of the city's main leisure areas. At the foot of the Gibralfaro stands the Roman theatre, the bullring, (known as La Malagueta) and the historic quarter of the city.
In the centre stands the Cathedral (16-18th century), also known as 'La Manquita' ('the one-armed') thanks to its unfinished right tower. This beautiful Renaissance building is home to an interesting series of chapels containing fine examples of Andalusian imagery. In the old part of town there are other interesting churches such as the churches of Santiago 15-18th century), with its beautiful Mudéjar tower, Los Mártires, Sagrado Corazón and Santo Cristo de la Salud.
Historic Malaga offers a whole host of typical sites and corners. These include the façade of the Town Hall, dating from the early 20th century, and the Plaza de la Merced square, presided by the monument to Torrijos and the site of the house in which the famous painter Pablo Ruiz Picasso was born. A walk around the old quarter has to include the busy streets of Pasaje de Chinitas and Calle Granada, the site of the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Calle Larios, the main thoroughfare in the historic centre.
The capital of Malaga also has numerous green areas such as the park, the Alameda Principal avenue, and the gardens of Puerta Oscura and Pedro Luis Alonso.

Bajo la atenta mirada del Castillo de Gibralfaro se extiende una ciudad alegre y bulliciosa plagada de bellos rincones, como la Alameda Principal o el paseo marítimo de La Farola.
Su condición de capital de la Costa del Sol la convierte en uno de los destinos turísticos más importantes de España, por su clima, por sus playas y por una inmejorable oferta de campos de golf.
Fenicios, griegos, cartagineses, romanos...las principales civilizaciones mediterráneas encontraron en Málaga hace más de dos milenios un enclave privilegiado para el establecimiento de rutas comerciales, gracias a la estratégica situación de su puerto. La Alcazaba (s. VIII-XI) es, además de uno de los símbolos de la ciudad, una de las mayores fortalezas árabes de Andalucía. En esta edificación tiene su sede el Museo Arqueológico, que contiene valiosas piezas de las épocas fenicia y romana.
Desde el Castillo de Gibralfaro (s. XIV), unido a la Alcazaba por un lienzo de muralla, se obtienen las mejores vistas de la ciudad, que se abre al mar con el puerto y el paseo marítimo de La Farola, una de las principales zonas de ocio de la ciudad. A los pies de Gibralfaro se extienden el Teatro Romano, la plaza de toros (conocida como La Malagueta) y el casco histórico de la ciudad.
En su centro se levanta la Catedral (s. XVI-XVIII), también conocida como “la Manquita” por su inacabada torre derecha. Este templo, de bellísima factura renacentista, conserva un interesante conjunto de capillas que contienen buenos ejemplos de la imaginería andaluza. En el barrio viejo destacan otras iglesias como la de Santiago (s. XV-XVIII), con bella torre mudéjar, la de los Mártires, el Sagrado Corazón y el Santo Cristo de la Salud.
La Málaga histórica ofrece innumerables lugares y rincones típicos. Así, puede admirarse la fachada del Ayuntamiento, de principios del siglo XX, o bien la plaza de la Merced, presidida por el Monumento a Torrijos y donde queda emplazada la casa natal del célebre pintor Pablo Ruiz Picasso. El recorrido por el casco antiguo ha de pasar por el concurrido Pasaje de Chinitas, la calle Granada, con el Museo de Bellas Artes, o la calle Larios, principal arteria del casco antiguo.
La capital malagueña dispone, asimismo, de amplias zonas verdes, como el Parque, la Alameda Principal, los jardines de Puerta Oscura y Pedro Luis Alonso.

The inscriptions are made by teams. Therefore, it will be the leader, boss or captain of the team who manages the registration of the entire team and its components. Although exceptional independent participants are allowed.
The registration form is operated through Google Drive. Therefore it is necessary to have a Google account to operate in Drive. Having it is very easy. If your email is Gmail, you already have it. If not, you can create a Google account associating it with your email even if it is not Gmail.
Therefore, make sure that the email through which you request the registration has a Google account associated with it.
Steps
1. The team leader should send an email requesting to register the team to the address:

and TAS will send a "Registration Form" through Drive to the team leader.
Please, like we have already said, keep in mind that this online "Registration Form" can only be completed through Google Drive. It is also personalized and can only be modified by the person who has been sent by email, to her/his email address. Therefore, the team leader does not have to download it, fill it out and send it by email. Just fill it out online in Google Drive.
2. The team leader will confirm by email to TAS when he/she has completed the Registration Form in Drive.
3. TAS will check it and send a "Payment Letter" to team leader with the bank account number where to enter the amount.
Once the income of the corresponding amount has been made, the team leader will send an email enclosing the proof of having made it.
The team will then be registered.
DIRECTRICES
Las inscripciones se hacen por equipos. Por lo tanto será el líder, jefe o capitán del equipo quien gestione la inscripción de todo el equipo y de sus componentes. Aunque se admiten participantes independientes excepcionales.
El formulario de registro se opera a través de Google Drive. Por lo tanto es necesario tener una cuenta Google para operar en Drive. Tenerla es muy facil. Si tu correo es Gmail, ya lo tienes. Si no, puedes crear una cuenta Google asociándola a tu email aunque no sea Gmail. Por lo tanto asegúrate de que el email a través del cual solicites la inscripción tiene asociada una cuenta Google.
Pasos
1. El jefe del equipo debe enviar un email solicitando la inscripción del equipo al correo:
[email protected]
y TAS enviará una "Hoja de Inscripción" a través de Google Drive al jefe de equipo.
Por favor tengan en cuenta, como ya hemos dicho, que esa "Hoja de Inscripción" sólo se puede cumplimentar a través de Google Drive. Es además personalizada y solo puede ser modificada por la persona a quien se le ha enviado por email, a su dirección de correo electrónico. Por lo tanto, el jefe de equipo no tiene que descargarla en su ordenador, rellenarla y enviarla por email. Simplemente rellenarla online en Google Drive.
2. El jefe de equipo confirmará mediante un email a TAS cuando haya cumplimentado la Hoja de Inscripción en Drive.
3. TAS lo conprobará y enviará una "Carta Pago" con el número de cuenta bancaria
en donde ingresar el importe.
Una vez hecho el ingreso el jefe de equipo enviará un email adjuntando el comprobante de haberlo realizado.
El equipo estará entonces inscrito.
